Ticket Pricing FAQs
When do FIFA 2030 ticket sales open?
FIFA typically opens ticket sales 12–18 months before the tournament. For the 2030 World Cup (June–July 2030), expect the first lottery phase to open in late 2028 or early 2029. Subscribe above to be notified the moment sales open.
How does the FIFA ticket lottery work?
During the application window (usually 3–4 weeks), fans apply for their preferred matches and categories via FIFA.com/tickets. FIFA then runs a random selection. Successful applicants must pay within 7–10 days. Less popular matches have higher selection rates.
Are third-party ticket sellers safe?
No. Only buy through FIFA.com/tickets or officially authorised National Football Associations. Third-party platforms (StubHub, Viagogo, social media sellers) are not authorised by FIFA. Tickets from these sources may be invalid and you will be denied entry at the stadium.
Can I buy tickets for multiple matches?
Yes — FIFA allows fans to apply for multiple matches in the same lottery window. However, each match application is handled separately, so you may be selected for some matches but not others. There is no advantage to applying for popular matches like the final.
